Online Friends and Blue Bags

Hi, Yayazooh here!
Why did I start a blog? Well, when I was really young, there was a tree near my house that always had the same blue bag in it. As we went past, my brother would always say, "Blue bag, stuck in a tree!". I sometimes feel like that blue bag, because I'm stuck in a house of boys (2 brothers) and my parents, and I don't really have anyone to talk to unless I want to hear about electronics, music or this weird game the boys play called Ingress. I want to talk to people about books, films, clothes- I want to fangirl about stuff, I want to be a girl! So I figured that if I started a blog, then I could talk whenever I wanted. Generally, I'll be updating once a week, probably on a Friday, but whenever I want to talk about something big/important, I'll do a post.
Apart from my school friends, I do have someone I can talk to whenever I want, and that is my best friend (I'll call her Natty for anonymous reasons) who I met online, on instagram. I know she's there for me whenever, and having an internet friend is amazing, simply because you become friends due to personality and nature, instead of looks and appearances. I think that is so important in friendship, because I know that with Natty, it's not fake. Now we know and trust each other more, we do occasionally send each other selfies or whatever, but we generally just send funny or 'inspirational' tumblr type posts. A lot of people oline are very insecure, and knowing that they have friends who like them for who they are, not their appearance can really help. I didn't start my instagram account or blog because of that, but thousands of people do make profiles to help them with problems. I know people online with Anorexia, Depression, people who cut, and I try my best to talk to them but having never really experienced that myself, I don't generally know what to say. But if this blog ever becomes succesful, I hereby (!) promise to listen (or read) to any comment by anyone who needs someone to let it all out to. This was a pretty deep post, but I think it is important for people to feel that they have someone to talk to whenever they need, and knowing Natty has really helped me. Hope you have a great weekend (I most probably won't because I'm back at school on Monday), and remember that I am always here.
Yayazooh, logging off  xxx
